At Rest
Seattle Retirement
2006 - 2015
Sara Little Turnbull left this earthly realm on September 3, 2015, in Seattle, Washington. Surrounded by loving friends, she peaceably took her last breath, and the void was felt across the globe.
Every once in a while, a great ball of bouncing energy and spirit comes to this world to playfully discover our humanity’s connection and not so different needs. That was Sara. Her middle name was delight. For those students, friends, and peers that were blessed to have known Sara, if even for a few minutes of conversation, you knew you were in the presence of a vibrant life force. She was someone you would never forget. Sara inspired the best in everyone she touched, and we are better for having known her.
Sara was supposedly ‘survived’ by no one, yet she was a mother to thousands of friends she embraced worldwide. It is of little coincidence that a few weeks after being assured her life’s work was beautifully reassembled in Seattle for exposure to the public, that she peacefully let go. She achieved her greatest dream in knowing her unique discoveries and advanced teachings would be of use to others through her important research collections called the Process of Change and her Center for Design.
