The Center for Design Institute was established to educate the public about design and assist underserved women & girls in their design education.
The Center is the steward of Sara’s legacy teachings, including her intellectual and tangible properties. Her work prototypes, presentations, letters, library & photographs, along with the Center for Design study collections have been reincorporated with the Process of Change: Laboratory for Innovation and Design, which was used last in Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. All have been reassembled in Seattle for public tours by appointment.
